🚒🔥 Training Night! 🔥🚒
Another night of training, learning, and putting in the work! Our firefighters and EMS members are always working to sharpen their skills and stay prepared for whatever call comes our way. 💪🏼🧯🚑

A huge thank you to Alison Feik for leading our monthly training. This month’s training focused on sports-related emergencies and the unique challenges that can come with responding to injuries and medical emergencies during sporting events.

Our firefighters and EMS members spent the evening learning, practicing, and preparing so we can be ready to respond when our community needs us—whether it’s on the field, in the stands, or anywhere else. 💪🏼

Did you know?
If Cozad Volunteer Fire and Rescue didn't Volunteer. It would cost taxpayers $800,000 up to $1.1 million per year at a minimum? The dedicated volunteers of Cozad invest their time to be sure that the emergency call is answered day by day and night by night. Over the weekend there was a pump malfunction on the first out pumper. Your volunteers stepped up and made sure the issue was taken care of. Keeping that engine in service and saving hundreds if not thousands in repair bills. It's not just the calls that we answer, it's the maintenence of equipment and hours upon hours of training that take place behind the scenes. Every piece of equipment we have is checked monthly and after every call to be sure we are ready to serve you.
