🌱📚 Today was our very first day of Lil’ Sprouts at the Crane County Library, and our hearts are already so full! We welcomed a brand new class and met so many sweet little faces. 💚

We learned that almost everyone’s favorite food is pizza…so I guess a pizza party is officially on our list! 🍕😂

We sang songs, made new friends, and read We Don’t Eat Our Classmates, a funny story about Penelope Rex, who learned that eating your classmates on the first day of school is definitely NOT a good way to make friends! 🦖🤣

Our Lil’ Sprouts shared their names and favorite colors or foods while passing around a soft, squishy plush to help everyone feel comfortable. We also made precious handprints that will soon become a beautiful garden of handprint flowers on our Lil’ Sprouts board! 🌸🖐️

Of course, we ended with our goodbye song, lots of pictures, and a sucker for each child because every single one of our Lil’ Sprouts did an AMAZING job on their first day! 🍭

We had such a sweet and fun morning, and we cannot wait to watch our little class learn, grow, and blossom together this year! 🌱💚📚

September Book Club Meeting! 📚☕️

The Crane County Library Book Club had another wonderful meeting Wednesday morning at La Terrazita Cafe as we gathered together to discuss Theo of Golden by Allen Levi.

We truly enjoyed the book and had a great time sharing our thoughts, perspectives, and favorite moments from the story. After our discussion, our overall book club rating was an impressive 9.5/10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A special thank-you to La Terrazita Café for their amazing hospitality and for always providing such a welcoming atmosphere for our book club. We sincerely appreciate everything you do to make our meetings so enjoyable! If you haven’t visited them yet, we highly recommend you to check them out and experience their awesome service for yourself!

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for another great book club gathering! For those unable to attend you were missed.

💛 A very special thank-you to JuJu’s Food Company! 💛

The wonderful team at JuJu’s surprised the Crane County Library staff with a warm and delicious breakfast, and we are so grateful! The biscuits were soft and just right, the gravy had such wonderful flavor, and everything was prepared with so much care.

It truly means so much to be thought of and appreciated by members of our community. Your kindness brightened our morning and filled both our hearts and our bellies! 🥰
