This PSA is an important reminder that Trains and Train crossings can be very dangerous. Yesterday an SFC member witnessed an adult and child on bicycles stop on the Central Ave side of the Stirling station tracks. The traffic gates were down, lights blinking, bells clanging and the train stopped in the station. The adult then proceeded around the gates and the child followed. Thankfully a second train did not go by on track 2. Yes, there are two sets of tracks at Stirling station. Yes, sometimes another train will pass on those tracks. Yes, with all the noise you won't hear it!
The gates are there for a reason, wait the few extra minutes!!
