Monitoring Hurricane Isaias. The only change is more confidence in rainfall amounts. Our area has a 65% chance of receiving greater than 5 inches of rain. So please be aware of flash flooding. Do not cross standing water. With wind gusts and heavy rain, trees can come down. Power outages could occur. Remain weather aware and stay safe.

Continuing to monitor Hurricane Isaias. We can expect wide spread rain and wind gusts Saturday. Remain weather aware through the weekend.

🌧 Thursday Evening Update: In addition to long-duration strong winds, Hurricane will bring heavy rainfall from late Friday through early Sunday. Flash flooding and quick rises on rivers, creeks, and streams will be possibilities where the heaviest/most persistent rain occurs.

This weekend we should get some much needed rain. We could also see isolated amounts of 3-5 inches of rain which could cause some flash flooding. Wind gusts could reach 30-40mph and cause some trees to fall and power outages. Remain weather aware this weekend.

Bottom line, it’s gonna be hot for the next few days. The meteorologist “say” relief is on the way. Hydrate and stay cool.
