🏆 🏆 🏆 LIFE SAVER ALERT 🏆 🏆 🏆

We would like to commend former Cadet Isaac McCloskey with his fast actions on using the life saving skill he was taught at camp. It's amazing that a young man his age could spring into action to save another student in the blink of an eye. As we teach at camp you never know what situation life will put you in and we try to make them ready for those situations. Cadet McCloskey, excellent job! We're proud of your actions to mitigate a bad situation by using the life saving skills you were taught, job well done Cadet!

Call of Honor

08/01/2026

A note from your Camp Cadet photographer, Mrs. Haydu...
To the Cambria County Camp Cadet class of 2026,
You worked hard. You over came. You hit obstacles head on, literally. You learned what respect and integrity are first hand. You pushed yourself beyond what YOU thought you were capable of, but we knew better. We knew you could do more and you showed us that.
I loved telling your story in photographs this week. My hope is they help you remember the week that changed your life for the better. The week that made you realize you can do ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND, HEART AND SOUL INTO. Never stop reaching for the best version of you that you can be. I wish you an amazing future! Congratulations Cambria County Camp Cadet class of 2026 & God bless!
