Learning is even more exciting when our four-legged Officers Nova and Raisa are involved! 🐕‍🦺🐾

Our K-9 team had a wonderful time visiting Early Foundations Learning Academy to give students a closer look at the amazing skills, training, and teamwork behind our police K-9 unit.

We love opportunities like these to connect with our youngest community members, spark curiosity, and show them the important role our K-9 partners play in keeping our community safe! 💙🖤

📢 EVENT POSTPONED: COPS & BOBBERS 🎣

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our Cops & Bobbers event is postponed due to the severe damage sustained to the hatchery from Hurricane Isaias.

The safety of our community and the condition of the hatchery must come first as we work through the aftermath of the storm. We know how much this event means to so many of you, and we share in the disappointment of having to cancel.

💙 Our thoughts are with everyone in our community who has been affected by Hurricane Isaias. We understand that many families, businesses, and neighbors may be facing damages, challenges, and uncertainty in the wake of this storm. Now, more than ever, it’s important that we come together, support one another, and lend a helping hand wherever we can.

Please keep an eye on our page for updates regarding rescheduling the event and reopening applications. We will share more information as it becomes available.

Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and understanding. We are grateful to be part of such a strong and caring community, and we look forward to the day we can come together again for Cops & Bobbers! 💙🎣

On October 1st, during the Crestview Chamber breakfast, Walmart made a significant impact by donating generously to local community services. Their benevolence was shown through two substantial donations that will greatly benefit Crestview.

Walmart displayed its commitment to community safety and support by donating $3,000 to the Crestview Police Foundation. This contribution will be instrumental in enhancing local programs such as "Shop with a Cop," which builds positive relationships between police officers and the community's youth by providing children with an opportunity to shop with local officers during the holiday season. The donation will also support other vital community initiatives that aim to strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the public.

In addition to supporting law enforcement, Walmart extended its generosity to Crestview Animal Services with a donation of $2,000. This gift will assist in the care and well-being of local animals, ensuring they receive the necessary attention and resources. The funds will help improve the quality of life for animals in the community, promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

Since June 15, 2026, Crestview Police Department and the Criminal Investigations Division has been investigating the case of MISSING JUVENILE RUNAWAY, Jacob Carlisle Cook.

Thus far, our investigation has led us to believe that COOK is still in the Florida panhandle and is with subjects known to him.

Due to multiple posts regarding this case on third-party social media pages, often accompanied by inaccurate images of COOK, our Criminal Investigations Division felt it important to update the community and public.
