In the days following Hurricane Isaias, we have heard many stories of our community rallying together! Now, we want to hear yours!

Whether they have provided free meals, helped with debris clean-up, or anything in between, tell us in the comments about a business, non-profit, or resident who has been a helping hand for you or someone you know!

Thank you to everyone who has pitched in to help others! We are so proud of how our city has rallied together! 💙💛

Schools will reopen tomorrow, 10/15!

Tomorrow (Thursday, October 15), our school campuses will reopen and learning will resume across Okaloosa County School District schools.

As our community continues to recover from Hurricane Isaias, we want to extend our heartfelt thoughts to any families affected by the storm. We know recovery looks different for everyone, and we're here to support our students and families as they return.

If your student is unable to attend school because of extenuating circumstances related to the hurricane, please follow your school's attendance procedures and communicate with your school directly so the absence can be excused.

Stay safe, and we'll see you tomorrow!

FYI: There will be temporary closures of Highways 85 and 285 and State Roads 123 and 293 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. TOMORROW, Thursday, October 15. See details below.

🚫 Plan ahead for road closures tomorrow!

The 96th Test Wing will conduct testing on the Eglin Test and Training Complex Oct. 15, requiring temporary closures of Highways 85 and 285 and State Roads 123 and 293 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
