A note from the Town of Crewe:

We had to postpone the twice-yearly hydrant flushing scheduled for last week. Hydrants will now be flushed this Friday, October 16th.

Flushing helps clear sediment buildup in the water lines, reducing discolored water.

This also means that particles stirred up during this process may discolor the water coming out of your faucets. If that occurs, run your cold water until it becomes clear. The end result should be more consistently clear water.

Come hungry on Wednesday, October 14 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a loaded potato and something sweet, all while supporting a great cause. You can eat in or take it to go, and there’s
no set charge - just a donation of your choice!
