ISO: The CFPD is looking for vehicles that people are willing to donate for extrication exercises (The more modern the vehicle the better) You must own the vehicle and if you have the title that's even better. These exercises allow us to run different scenarios and help expedite patient care in real emergencies. Please message us with the year, make, model of your vehicle or if you have any other questions.

Thank you, CFPD

CFPD had a busy day with the high winds. We started the day with a blown over tractor trailer due to the extremely turbulent high winds and finished the night with a mutual aid fire from Sedgwick county. The grassfire in Sedgwick county involved multiple departments from several counties, Colorado DFPC, as well as locals showing up with tractors and discs. CFPD responded with multiple apparatus including grass rigs, tenders, and an ambulance. Crews returned safe with no reported incidents. We would like to name specific resources that were involved, but the massive support from the neighboring districts that responded to Sedgwick county was exactly what this community and part of the state is known for. Thank you to everyone that responded and made quick work in the conditions that were given to our area today.
