UPDATE-the barricades have been removed from all three locations.

We have put up barricades at the intersection of S. Berkshire & Aspen, S. Durham and Aspen, and S. Crosby, just north of Lowe's until the water has had time to recede after the rainfall. Please seek an alternate route.

We will update once we feel like it is safe for travel and have removed the barricades.

UPDATE-We are now open but the water is still very high on the roads next to City Hall. Please be careful if you must get out.

Due to the rain, City Hall will not open at 8 am. The 100 block of Crosby and 200 block of Aspen and West Main are completely flooded. Please avoid the area until further notice.

We will open as soon as we can get into the parking lot.

🚨 REMINDER 🚨

The section of South Harrison from Highway 62/82 to just past Birch is ALWAYS a 20 mph zone! It is not a "school zone," that is the speed limit on that part of South Harrison AT ALL TIMES.

The only school zone is located on the highway, with the flashing lights indicating when the 25 mph speed limit is active in that area.

Please be aware that many of our community's children walk to/from school and by speeding through this area, you are putting them at risk.
