Spaces are still available in next week's cooking demo with Thyme Savor Cuisine. You'll get to watch a professional chef make two fall-themed dishes (a main and a dessert), taste the food, and receive print-outs of the recipes to take home and try on your own. The class is free to attend, but does require registration as we are limited to 20 people. Email [email protected] to get on the registration list!

Our consortium is gathering feedback about patron's experience using and accessing e-materials (including e-books, audiobooks, and magazines) via Libby. Survey results will be used to help develop and grow the state-wide digital collection in the coming years.

Do you love visiting the library? Want to get rewarded just for stopping in? Check out our new "Power User" Punch Card initiative that debuts tomorrow!

Pick up a punch card from the circulation desk anytime and start collecting stamps. One visit to the library earns you one stamp; checking out any number of items while you're here will earn you a bonus stamp. After 20 stamps are collected, you can trade your punch card in for an exclusive library sticker and an entry into a new monthly grand prize drawing for other library swag.

This is an ongoing program! There's no deadline for finishing your punch card and you can continue to earn stamps as long as you keep visiting the library.

There's never a dill—oops, we mean dull—moment when the library teams up with Cross Plains Rec for a program! This past Monday on the first No School Day event of the year, we hosted Pickle Pandemonium in the park, where kids had a chance to play pickle wiffleball, pickle co****le, and do a smell test of different pickle brines. We discovered pickles don't work well as a replacement for real sports equipment, but it was a great day in the park!

Be sure to check the library calendar to see what we'll be up to at our next School's Out event, or reach out to the Rec Department to learn more about Full Day Camps on MCPASD no school days.
