⚠️⚠️PUBLIC NOTICE: BURN BAN⚠️⚠️

A burn ban is an official restriction on outdoor burning implemented when weather and environmental conditions create an increased risk of fire.

During a burn ban, residents are asked to avoid activities that could produce an open flame, spark, or other potential ignition source. This includes burning trash, leaves, brush, or other debris; using burn barrels, fire pits, or campfires; and improperly disposing of ci******es or other smoking materials.

Residents should also exercise extreme caution when grilling or using any outdoor cooking equipment. Never leave grills unattended, and ensure all flames, ashes, and coals are completely extinguished after use.

Discarding cigarette butts from vehicles or onto the ground can create a serious fire hazard, particularly during dry conditions.

We encourage everyone to remain aware of the increased fire danger and take all necessary precautions to prevent accidental fires. Your cooperation is essential in protecting our community, property, and emergency responders.

Please take the burn ban seriously and avoid any activity involving an open flame or potential ignition source.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Faith Flowers for their incredibly generous donation of beautiful flowers for our officers to deliver to our local banking partners a couple weeks ago.

Officer Brackett and Officer People had the pleasure of handing out flowers to the wonderful employees at Century Next, Timberline, and Commercial Capital to brighten their day and show our appreciation for all they do in our community.

From all of us at the department, thank you for helping us serve, connect, and care for our community. 💙👮‍♀️🌸

Please join us in congratulating our very own KJ Scott, who officially graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy this past week! 👏💙

Graduating from the academy is no small accomplishment. It takes dedication, discipline, hard work, and a commitment to serving others—and we couldn’t be prouder to see KJ reach this milestone.

KJ, congratulations on this achievement and on taking the next step in your law enforcement career. We’re proud to have you as part of our team and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish as you serve our community.
