Our annual Christmas Toy Drive is officially underway, and we’re collecting new, unwrapped toys to support Central Baptist Church and the families they serve.

You can donate by dropping off toys at the park office or by selecting a gift from our Amazon Gift Registry. Registry purchases will be shipped directly to us for easy giving. No gift is too big or too small when it comes from the heart!

You’re also invited to celebrate the season with us on November 22nd, from 1:00–3:00pm at the Recreation Lodge. Enjoy delicious snacks, festive crafts, and a special photo opportunity by our beautifully decorated Christmas tree. This event is free to attend, but we kindly encourage participants to bring a toy donation.

This toy drive is hosted and sponsored by the Friends of Cumberland Mountain State Park. Thank you for helping make holiday wishes come true.

Trunk or Treat in the Campground this Saturday, October 24th, from 5:00-7:00pm

This is a safe and unique way to trick or treat by going “campsite to campsite” in a festive atmosphere. Campers who have their campsites decorated for the event will be handing out candy!

This event is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.

Get ready for an engaging experience while you move through the campground collecting treats from participating campsites. Trunk or treat is a walk-through 2-hour event. Vehicles are not allowed in the campground area. Guests can expect to walk approximately 2 miles.

This event is rain or shine. To make the most of this experience, we recommend checking the weather conditions prior to arriving and dressing appropriately. Parking will be available at the Recreation Lodge, Upper & Lower Playgrounds, and the Boat Dock parking lot only.

Trunk or Treat is one of our most popular programs of the year- and for good reason. Our camping guests go all out decorating their campsites, creating a spooky, fun, and family-friendly atmosphere for little ghouls and goblins to walk through and collect treats.

Each year, generous donations help provide candy for the hundreds of trick-or-treaters who attend this special event. Unfortunately, we lost our main candy sponsor this year, and Friends of CMSP need your help!

Would you consider making a monetary contribution to help keep this beloved tradition going?

Every donation, big or small, helps ensure that our young visitors can enjoy a fun-filled night of trick-or-treating.

To make a donation, please go to: https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/register/candy-fundraiser-by-friends-of-cmsp

For more information, please call the park office at 931-484-6138. The office is open daily from 8:00-4:30pm.

Thank you for helping Friends of CMSP make Trunk or Treat a memorable experience for our community's little ghosts and goblins!
