In less than one month, on October 20th, Ms. Mize’s students will be participating in their first Ellie’s Day. If you have been up to Ms. Mize’s classroom, you’ve seen her yellow set of “My Room Rules” posted outside. Those are Ellie’s rules. Ms. Mize worked with Ellie’s mother in Georgia and was there through her unimaginable loss. The Pruitts have turned the loss of their precious girl into a day of kindness and joy.
This is a day that Ms. Mize looks forward to, and she intends to make it an annual event everywhere she goes, as we spread Ellie’s Rules across the country! If you have any questions, please let Ms. Mize know! Please wear yellow, let’s have fun, and always love!
