Katie Chiasson Crowley City Council, District 1, Division B

08/16/2026

It’s hard to believe that four years have passed since I was first elected to represent the residents of Ward 1 on the Crowley City Council. As we began this journey together to grow our city and make it a better place for all, you were all very supportive. I appreciate each of you for communicating your concerns, your advice and often times your wisdom.

I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving you for the next four years with no opposition. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to share your ideas and dreams for our community. Together we can accomplish much.

I ask for your prayers as we move forward,

Katie

FYI - scam alert -

Scam Alert

There have been recent fraudulent phone calls targeting citizens and businesses in which individuals falsely claim to represent a local bank. These callers may attempt to obtain sensitive information, online banking credentials, account numbers, security codes, or request that funds be transferred.

Please remember:
A bank will never call you and ask for your online banking password, one-time passcode, or security verification code.
Do not provide confidential account information to unsolicited callers.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately.
Contact the bank directly using a verified phone number - not the number provided by the caller.

If you believe you may have shared confidential information with a fraudulent caller, please contact your bank immediately so they can help protect your accounts.

Stay safe, stay alert and as always, if you believe you’ve been targeted by a scam, contract the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office or your local law enforcement agency.
