Deer hunters - This deer season, you can help feed Hoosiers in need by donating your legally harvested deer. Through the Hunt for Hunger program, your meat processing fees are paid when you drop off your deer at a certified Hunt for Hunger processor. Healthy ground venison is distributed to non-profit food banks and free meal programs. More than 500,000 pounds of venison have been donated by Hoosier hunters since the program’s inception in 2008. For information on donating harvested deer and participating processors, please visit on.IN.gov/huntforhunger.
