HELLO HUSMANN COMMUNITY!

We are thrilled to officially kick off Arts Alive for the 26-27 school year! Arts Alive is a fun, interactive opportunity for parents to volunteer in their child’s classroom leading a monthly art lesson. Each month, the lesson features a little about an artist’s life, what we can learn from the artist’s experiences, and helps the parents guide the students through a related art project.

This month we are featuring artist and musician Dolly Parton, her dedication to community growth, and an opportunity to participate in a fun art activity within our community! The art the students create this month will be entered into a project with the City of Crystal Lake Sustainability Committee and Moth & Moon Co. to potentially have their design made into a monarch butterfly installation in downtown CL. More information on the Mayor's Monarch Pledge below.

Our cougars love these monthly art lessons and we are excited to share with them all the fun we have planned for this year!
