It gives me great pleasure to announce that I have received an endorsement from Congressman Bill Foster!

Having walked alongside him in local parades, collaborated on his podcasts, and worked with him across McHenry County, I have come to deeply appreciate his character. Congressman Foster isn't just a leader who delivers results; he consistently shows up, truly listens to individual constituents, and follows through on their concerns.

Congressman Foster works hard for Illinois and McHenry County by actively supporting our communities, championing economic development, modernizing infrastructure, and expanding affordable housing.

We have him to thank for securing critical investments, including $1,060,000 for the McHenry County College Foglia Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation (CATI), $16,383,000 for the Route 47 widening project in Woodstock, and a $2,250,000 appropriation for the final phase of construction for the new Woodstock Metra rail yard.

Thank you, Congressman Foster, for your endorsement, your partnership, and your unwavering support for McHenry County.

“Signs don’t vote,” but people who display them do!

According to Google, displaying campaign signs is a ritual dating back to the 1820s. This seemingly simple practice is actually a complex synergy of social psychology, spatial dominance, civic identity, and grassroots organization.

Simply stated, it’s a great way to socialize, engage in civic duties, and promote your campaign. Let’s go!

I am incredibly honored and excited to announce that I have received the endorsement of Illinois State Representative Suzanne Ness for the McHenry County Board, District 2!

Having served on the McHenry County Board herself before heading to Springfield, Suzanne knows firsthand what this job entails, and she deeply understands the needs of the families right here in District 2.

What I admire most about working with Suzanne is her genuine ability to connect with everyone she meets, whether she’s listening to local residents or collaborating with colleagues in the State House.

Her platform of lowering costs, increasing opportunity, and investing in our future, isn’t just talk. It is backed by a proven track record of results.

I am deeply humbled that Suzanne placed her trust in me to help carry forth the progress she championed here. Thank you, Suzanne, for your continued dedication to McHenry County and the entire state of Illinois.

When I moved to McHenry County in 1976, my first residence was in Woodstock, Illinois. I fell in love with the Woodstock Square Historic District, and have been an organizer as well as a participant in many of the events hosted on the Square over the past 50 years.

Woodstock is a leader in the community, and a venue for numerous community events and gems, including the Woodstock Farmers Market, the Woodstock Opera House, Woodstock Pride, the McHenry County Juneteenth Festival , which I organized in 2023, and Diversity Days, which I cohosted for 11 years, along with Patrick Murfin for 9 of those years.

Former Woodstock Mayors Brian Sager and Bill Anderson were good friends to me, to the city of Woodstock, and to McHenry County.

Current Woodstock Mayor, Michael Turner, continues the tradition of honoring Woodstock’s proud history while planning for its continued growth and future.

I’m thrilled to have the endorsement of Mayor Michael Turner for the McHenry County Board, District 2.

Meeting with individuals, listening to their ideas, and helping them to connect with the resources they seek are the most satisfying aspects of serving on the McHenry County Board.

I treasure every story, every hope, and every dream that individuals share for the future of their family and the community we live in. I invite you to be a part of the dream that will shape our future.

I am running for reelection to the McHenry County Board, District 2, and I would be honored to represent you for another four years.

* Early voting begins October 19.
