Being kind to others can be our greatest legacy, and we hope future generations will be inspired by our actions.

As part of America's 250th anniversary, Nunda Township is collecting acts of kindness from our community. The cards will be sealed in a time capsule and opened for America's 300th.

If you performed or received an act of kindness in 2026, there are two ways to take part.

In person: Stop by the Township office at 3420 Bay Road in Crystal Lake to pick up a card. Cards as well as the drobox are on a table just outside the office door.

Online: Fill out the online form (See the link in the comments) and we will put your response on a physical card for the capsule.

The Time Capsule Dedication Ceremony will be held December 5, 2026 @ Noon. All submissions must be received by November 30th.

📢 SANDBAG PICKUP UPDATE 📢

With floodwaters receding, the Nunda Township Road District crew is out picking up sandbags across the community.

If you haven’t already, please move your sandbags to the roadside so our crews — and the “claw” 🦾 — can scoop them up efficiently.

🗓 Reminder: We plan to complete sandbag pickup by June 1st.
Thank you for helping us wrap this up smoothly... 😉
