On October 5th, 2026, at approximately 7:50 PM, Cuba Police arrested Mimi J. LaPiere (38) of Cuba, NY. LaPiere was arrested on charges of petit larceny (2 Counts, Violations). LaPiere was processed and released. These charges stem from LaPiere allegedly stealing items from a local business. LaPiere is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Around 1:00 AM last night, a grey 2015 Toyota Tacoma with dealer license plates was taken from a local business parking lot. We are requesting the public’s help with this matter. The images shown depict the truck’s appearance (not the actual vehicle) and a potential suspect. On October 4th, 2026, at approximately 1:57 AM, Cuba Police arrested Timothy M. Harrington (42) of Friendship, NY. Harrington was arrested on charges of unsafe backing (Violation), moved from lane unsafely (Violation), no seat belt (Violation),driving while intoxicated (Misdemeanor), driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content greater than .08% (Misdemeanor) and aggravated driving while intoxicated (Misdemeanor). Harrington was issued citations and released. Harrington is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On October 4th, 2026, at approximately 1:55PM, Cuba Police arrested Donna L. Truesdale (46) of Cattaraugus, NY. Truesdale was arrested on charges of speed in zone (Violation), unlicensed operation (Violation) and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor). Truesdale was issued citations and released. Truesdale is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On October 3rd, 2026, at approximately 8:29 PM, Cuba Police arrested Kyle R. Loiacono (31) of Cuba, NY. Loiacono was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle without inspection (Violation), operating an unregistered motor vehicle (Violation), operating a motor vehicle without insurance (Violation) and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd (Unclassified Misdemeanor). Loiacono was issued citations and released. Loiacono is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On October 3rd, 2026, at approximately 2:01PM, Cuba Police arrested Erika L. Netzel (41) of Homeless. Netzel was arrested on an active warrant. Netzel was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail. Netzel is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

On September 29th, 2026 at approximately 6:12 PM, following a complaint of a male stating he was going to harm himself, Cuba Police took an individual into custody under the mental hygiene law. This individual was safely transported to an area hospital to receive assistance. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or know someone who is please text or call 988 or call 911. You can also visit the Allegany County website for assistance or the New York State website for mental health -

On September 22nd, 2026, at approximately 10:35 PM, following a report of a domestic dispute, Cuba Police arrested Colby A. Smith (32) of Cuba, NY. Smith was arrested on charges of assault 3rd (Misdemeanor), criminal obstruction of breathing (Misdemeanor), criminal mischief 4th - disabling equipment to prevent an emergency call to police (Misdemeanor), aggravated family offense (Felony), unlawful imprisonment 2nd (Misdemeanor) and menacing 2nd (Misdemeanor). Smith was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail. Smith is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
