October is FINALLY here and we could not be more excited about our upcoming fundraiser (PARTICIPATE for PAXTON). Paxton is 7 years old and is currently being treated at Children's Hospital of Alabama for B-Cell Leukemia. These journeys are costly and we know this family could use our help!! We are asking all who will to come out on October 25th anytime between the hours of 7 AM-7 PM to come hike or picnic at TFAW. We will have a 1.2 mile trail marked off to make it easy for those who would like to make a "small loop" of the property. Bring your family, your youth groups, your friends, etc, and let's show this family we care!! We can't wait to see how God moves in Paxton's cancer journey!! More information will be sent out closer to time if you are unable to make it on the 25th, but would still like to give.

This is a reminder that alcohol and smoking are not allowed at TFAW…and this includes v**es. I am finding more and more v**es thrown on the ground. If you are going to break the rules, at least use our trash cans to dispose of your v**e. Around here, we like the smell of the woods, not generic fruity flavors that stink up the area.

While I’m at it, the cost to enter is $5.00 per person. If you don’t pay…you don’t play. We quit accepting donations over a year ago.

TFAW is private owned. We are here to provide a safe, friendly, clean environment for our guests to make fun memories. Know ahead of time, if you enter without paying (we do have cameras now), or if you are va**ng or drinking, you will be asked to leave.

~ATTENTION TEACHERS & HOMESCHOOL GROUPS~
The weather will be cooling off soon!! Get your students out of the classroom and bring them on a field trip to TFAW!!!!! The months of October and November students and chaperones pay $5.00 to enter while teachers & bus drivers enter free!! Bring sack lunches or order pizza and let your students enjoy a picnic in the woods.
Do you have a science lesson that pertains to nature? We would love to see your students engaged and learning while they explore. We can't wait to see you!!

Sad news first: Our family is currently dealing with a few health issues, therefore, we will not be hosting our 5th annual Fall Scavenger Hunt 🎃 . We apologize to those who were looking forward to it & hope to continue this event in the future!

Now for the good news!!! We are SUPER EXCITED to host our 5th annual fundraiser for a family affected by cancer!! Our pick this year is Paxton Brooks from Vina, Alabama!! Paxton is 7 years old and is being treated at Children's Hospital of Alabama for B-Cell Leukemia.

We will send out reminders, but please go ahead and mark your calendar for October 25th!! Let's show this sweet family how much we love and support them during such a challenging season.

The cost to enter is $5.00 per person, but if you can donate more on this particular day, that would be awesome!! 100% of the proceeds will go to family to help with travel, food, medical bills, etc.

Do you have children?? Fundraisers like this are a great way to let your children participate and learn a lesson about GIVING. We are excited to see our community come together for a family in need. Bring your family or a church group to come hike/walk the trails or play at the playground. Feel free to bring a picnic 🥪! Hopefully the weather will be cooler and the leaves will be changing. 🍂 🍄‍🟫🍁
