We’d like to give a special thank you to Harper and the Liberty Learning Foundation for recognizing our team as community heroes and gifting our agency a wonderful gift basket!

As part of their project, Harper and her group were challenged to identify a need in their local community. They chose to recognize and show appreciation for the heroes who serve their community—and we are so grateful they chose to include us!

Thank you, Harper, for thinking of our 911 telecommunicators and recognizing the important role they play in our community. Your kindness means so much to our team! 💛📞

🎉 Today, we’re celebrating the career of our Communications Director, Danny Cain, as he steps into his newest role: Retiree! 🎉

Moving from the Fire Department to Dispatch in 2021 was no easy feat, but you took it head-on and have helped our department grow so much since then. We’re incredibly grateful for the dedication, hard work, and time you’ve given us over the years.

Now, we hope you take this next chapter to relax, spend plenty of time with those grandbabies, and most of all…enjoy those hunting days!

We appreciate everything you’ve done for us and the impact you’ve made here. While we’ll certainly miss having you around, there are more important things for you to focus on now—and you’ve earned every bit of it!

Enjoy your retirement! Congratulations!! 🥳

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

I know that for a lot of people this is just another awareness post to scroll past. But....

If you are the one having a hard time right now, you matter. Not because of what you produce or how well you are holding it together. You just do. And you do not have to white-knuckle it by yourself.

If you are worried about somebody, you do not need training or the perfect words. Ask them directly. It does not put the idea in their head, and it tells them you noticed. Then listen without rushing to fix it, stay with them, and help them make the call.

988 is the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline. Call, text, or chat. Free, confidential, answered 24/7. And it is not only for the person in crisis. If you are scared for someone you love and do not know what to do next, you can call it for yourself.

Please save the number. Please share this one. You never know whose feed it lands in today.
