It wasn’t so long ago that many of our young people couldn’t wait to graduate high school and leave Cullman looking for opportunities and a more enticing quality of life.
Today, I love that my children and so many young people their age have chosen Cullman as the place they want to live and raise their families.
Cullman is blessed with great job opportunities, a thriving economy, and plenty of entertainment and recreational options for all ages!
I am running for City Council because I want to continue to build a bright future for Cullman for citizens of all ages. I would appreciate your support and your vote on August 26.

One of the most exciting things to witness for me is the number of new local businesses opening in our community. Yesterday was special as we got to help Paige Clabo celebrate the opening of Heirlooms Fine and Performing Arts. I’ve known Paige since she was a child and she is an amazingly talented performer and also an incredible instructor to children. She has already filled a much needed roll in our community and I expect great things from Paige with her new business! Congratulations Paige, I am proud of you!

This campaign is deeply personal to me. My wife, Mary Leah, was always my biggest supporter and encourager. Today, along with our children and grandchildren, she remains my inspiration.
I'm running to help secure a strong and lasting future for Cullman, the kind of community she believed in and the kind I want my grandchildren to inherit.
I would be honored to have your support.

These are two of the reasons I’m fighting for Cullman’s future. I want to make sure our community keeps growing stronger for them and for every family who calls Cullman home.
Election Day is August 26th. I’d be honored to have your vote.

One of the things that makes Cullman so special is the number of incredible charitable organizations that we have in this town! Restoring Women Outreach does wonderful work in our community. On Friday, we were proud to present a check to Nancy Moore to help with the great work that she and her team do. Thank you for all you do, Nancy!
Mayor Jacobs and City Council proudly presented a $5,000 check to Nancy Moore with Restoring Women Outreach (RWO) today! Since 2011, this nonprofit has been helping women recover from addiction through a safe, 12-step-based residential program.
RWO empowers women to rebuild their lives, reunite with families, and give back to the community through coaching, life skills classes, and service opportunities. Their work restores hope and changes lives. The City of Cullman is proud to support RWO and the life-changing impact they make in our community.🫶🏻

Friday was a big day in Cullman! We celebrated the 105th birthday of Mr. Drinkard, and I got to meet our current senator and future candidate for governor. Next, I attended a very productive forum to discuss future upgrades for the Don Green Center. Finally, I finished the day at 2nd Fridays, sponsored by The Cullman Chamber of Commerce!
