Today, Chief Joey Duncan had the opportunity to join several North Alabama police chiefs and sheriffs, along with representatives from the FBI, DEA, and ATF, for a press conference highlighting the results of the FBI’s Operation Summer Heat. This coordinated effort has helped take numerous fi****ms, illegal drugs, and individuals involved in criminal activity off our streets this year.

The Cullman Police Department recognizes the importance of strong partnerships and collaboration among local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. By sharing resources, intelligence, and expertise, these agencies can work together more effectively to combat crime, hold offenders accountable, and help keep our communities safe.

When law enforcement works together, our communities are stronger and safer. The Cullman Police Department remains committed to working alongside our fellow law enforcement agencies to protect the citizens we proudly serve.

🦅 A special sighting on Lake Catoma today!

While out patrolling the Lake, Lake Patrol Officer Jerry Perkins spotted a bald eagle flying just above the water.

You never know what you might see out there! It’s another reminder of the beauty of our area and one of the many things that make serving this community special. 🇺🇸

Chief Joey Duncan enjoyed visiting Gadsden State and connecting with Chief Jay Freeman to share ideas and discuss ways to better serve our communities.

It was a pleasure welcoming Cullman Police Chief Joey Duncan to Gadsden State.

We enjoyed sharing ideas, discussing the future of law enforcement, and exploring ways to better serve and protect our communities.

Professional development, collaboration, and building strong relationships with fellow law enforcement leaders are essential as we continue working to improve public safety.

Thank you, Chief Duncan, for taking the time to visit. We appreciate your leadership and friendship!

Last night, the Cullman Police Department was honored to participate in the Bosom Buddies Little Pink Dress Event, an evening dedicated to supporting an important cause in our community.

The City and County joined together in a friendly competition to see who could raise the most money for the Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation. While the County may have taken home the bragging rights this year, the true winner was the Cullman County Bosom Buddies Foundation and the individuals and families who benefit from its mission.

We are proud to be part of an event that brings our community together in support of those affected by breast cancer. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make the evening a success!

Yesterday, the Cullman Police Department had the pleasure of hosting some of our German friends as part of the STAR International Police Exchange Program.

Cullman is one of several stops during their journey across Alabama as they visit police departments and learn more about law enforcement and the communities we serve.

During their time with us, they had the opportunity to take a flight in the Cullman Police Department helicopter, enjoy lunch together, and spend some time with us at Oktoberfest that evening.

We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome our German law enforcement friends to Cullman and share our community, our department, and a little Alabama hospitality with them. We appreciate the STAR program for creating opportunities that strengthen relationships and provide valuable cultural and professional exchanges between law enforcement agencies.

We look forward to seeing our friends again and wish them safe travels as they continue their journey across Alabama!
