* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Cullman, Madison, Morgan, DeKalb, Jackson, and Marshall
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Cullman, Madison, Morgan, DeKalb, Jackson, and Marshall
Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM Saturday to 7 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

Hurricane Isaias is forecast to make landfall this evening along the Gulf coast.

Gusty winds remain our primary threat with isolated highest gusts up to 55 MPH.

The tornado threat has gone down with a very low chance for a tornado.

The rainfall amounts have also gone down again, lowering our flooding rain threat slightly.

* WHAT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
possible for all of Northern Alabama and Southern Middle Tennessee.
High end potential of 60-70 mph gusts, especially in higher
terrain.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Alabama
and southern middle Tennessee.

MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following areas,
Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin AL, Jackson, Lauderdale,
Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall and Morgan and southern
middle Tennessee, including the following areas, Franklin TN,
Lincoln and Moore.

* WHEN...From late Friday night through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall associated with Hurricane Isaias will move through
the area starting overnight Friday into Saturday and continue
through Sunday morning. Widespread 2-4 inches is expected with
locally higher amounts between 5-7 inches.

Hurricane Isaias is forecast to make landfall near the AL/FL coastal area Friday night. There is a medium chance of impactful gusty winds as Isaias moves rapidly northward after making landfall. There is a low risk of flooding due to heavy rainfall. There is a low (Marginal) risk of thunderstorms producing a tornado or two Saturday in north central and northeast Alabama.
