While many think school nutrition takes a break during the summer, our Cullman City Child Nutrition Program staff has been hard at work!

Over the last two days, our team invested in professional development through Chef Ann Foundation culinary training, sharpening their skills and learning new techniques to bring fresh ideas and quality meals to our students.

At the same time, our staff has continued preparing and serving meals to our K-5 Summer Camp students and the Cullman Bearcat Football team, ensuring students have access to nutritious meals even when school is out.

We are proud of this dedicated team for spending part of their summer learning, serving, and supporting our students. Their commitment goes far beyond the school year, and we are grateful for the positive impact they make every day.

Supporting Cullman City students all year long—one meal, one lesson, and one student at a time. ❤️🖤💛

🏈☀️ Summer Camp Week One Complete! 🍎

This week, Cullman City Schools Child Nutrition was proud to serve meals to our K-5 Summer Camp students and extend meal service to our Bearcat Football players.

As one coach shared, “Teams that eat together stay together.” We couldn’t agree more! We love seeing students enjoy a good meal while building friendships, teamwork, and fellowship.

A big thank you to our Child Nutrition staff for helping make this possible. Week One may be complete, but we’re excited to continue serving students over the next two weeks!

Thank you to Superintendent Mr. Kallhoff and the Cullman City Board of Education for recognizing our Child Nutrition Program staff at last night’s board meeting.

We are truly grateful for the support and appreciation shown to the ladies who work hard each day to serve the students of Cullman City Schools. Our CNP team has served more than 300,000 meals to date and plays an important role in helping students feel cared for, nourished, and ready to learn.

This recognition means so much to our staff, and we are thankful to be part of a school system that values the work happening in our cafeterias every day.
