Happy World Turtle Day to Doug! 💚🐢😆

Eastern Box Turtles can completely close their shells like a little box to stay safe? 🛡️ Their beautiful shells have unique patterns — no two turtles are exactly alike! 🌟

These amazing turtles can live over 50 years, love rainy days ☔, and enjoy snacks like berries, worms, mushrooms, and bugs 🍓🪱🍄. Even though they move slowly, they are great little climbers too!

Our students LOVE learning about Doug, his adaptations, and his habitat!

Today we celebrated two incredible educators, April German & Kristi Seal, as they begin their well-earned retirement! Thank you for the countless lives you’ve impacted, the love you’ve poured into your students, and the dedication you’ve shown to our GHP family over the years. Congratulations and best wishes on this exciting new chapter! ❤️🖤

GHP celebrated Kindergarten Graduation & 2nd Grade send-off today! A huge thank you to Daystar Church for allowing us use of their facility and setting up production for our programs today! It was the best day! Hope you all have a great summer!

Thank you SO MUCH to our friends at VFW! They have helped us get one of our outdoor learning areas cleaned up and have also helped us with the Habitat Learning Lab project this year! We are so thankful for our community partners 🖤❤️
