In Hunter Library, nobody can hear you scream….

except for the rest of your tour group! Join us, foolish mortals, on October 29th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for a tour of the paths less traveled… by the current students, anyway. Hear true and chilling tales from the University’s history, get a glimpse of the spookiest spots on campus, and learn about when Satan himself walked these very grounds.

Just make sure you check your group at the end of the night. You wouldn’t want to head home with any of our dearly departed….

The MHC just installed portions of its Clearing the Hurdles exhibit on the concourse at the Ramsay Center. The exhibit looks at the development of women’s athletics at WCU. Having seen the exhibit last year in the gallery, Public History intern Emma had fun time learning how to accommodate it in a very different location.

We hired a legit, totally real cameo of Stone Cold Steve Austin to promote our collaboration event with Innovation Brewing: From Stills to Taps. Come join us this Thursday, August 6, from 5pm-7pm and enjoy Free Food, a tour of the distillery, and a talk by Danielle Duffy titled: The Intoxicating History of Civilization and Democracy.
