It’s that time of year….

Deer crashes are on the rise for the next month and a half. As the whitetail rut starts we see the crash numbers triple in comparison to the rest of the year.

For the hunters I can tell you some chasing has started, some fighting, and some herd movement due to crops being cut.

Please be careful on the roads, look for eyes at night and at this time of year if you see a doe go across the road, expect a 😈buck behind her!

If you have property that needs help thinning out your herd… well I’m your man! Its all about service to my community! 😁 🦌

Honored morning!

We had some history in our courtroom this morning! A new Detective was sworn in by Judge Durrer (Doug Lingenfelter).

Doug comes to us after retiring from Fairfax with 26 years. In attendance and support of Doug joining CCSO was retired Sheriff Mitchell and Sgt. Rick Graham!

A great way to finish the school day, I was able to administer the oath pledge to our first Jr. Deputy Safety Patrol squad!

This is great way to spark the interest of safety and leadership! Each of our elementary schools will be participating in the coming days!

Star Cadets Pumpkin Event 🎃

Our crew went to Greg Williams Farm Stand today in Rappahanock for our annual pumpkin carving event!

All around great event, thank you to our CCSO Accountant Allison , HR Liasion Sue, Community Trust Partners Division and all our Star Cadet families! Cookout, pumpkins, cotton candy and ice cream!

Special thanks to David Gray and his daughter, each year David pays for the Star Cadets pumpkins!

I know sometimes folks hold their breath and squint bracing themselves for what I say on these videos, but this is a proud announcement and I wanted to get it out there now so I can start bragging a little on our team.

My promise has not changed over this last 4+ years with the time I actually campaigned and the time that I’ve been in office. I have given 100%, I have been present, I have been accountable to the public, I have been available to the public at all hours of the day and night, and I’ve been at almost every event that I’ve been asked to be a part of for the past 3+ years to the tune of probably around 650 different events.

Our accomplishments are so broad that it will take me a few months to put them all out to you so that you can be reminded of what we’ve have gotten done over the last few years. My plan is to put it out every week or so from each division and all the accomplishments we’ve had in each one of those. Obviously we do so much on social media and I’ve put all of this out before a number of times, but we continually grow in our followers on social media so it’s nice to put out the information again especially during this time for the next year..

I will continue to give you 100% every day and I’m looking forward to continue earning your trust and your vote over the next year as we head into the 2027 election.

We will start our fundraising efforts soon and start putting together our volunteers again to help get our message out in places that it may not be yet. If you remember, I did not ask for one penny from a soul in that last election, but the public came through for me and made our efforts much easier than I could’ve ever expected.
