This is a national day of action held on the third Thursday of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Wearing purple shows support for survivors, honors those we’ve lost to abuse, and raises awareness for Domestic Violence. Today, and everyday, we continue to stand against Domestic Violence.

💜 Today marks the first day of Domestic Violence Awareness Month!💜

What originally began as a ‘Day of Unity in 1981’ evolved into a month of awareness, support for survivors and education in 1989!

Now more than ever, we must stand with survivors and recognize the safety and support that ALL survivors deserve!

We are incredibly honored to announce the speaker for the 2026 Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil! Tara Petito, stepmom of Gabby Petito, will discuss the warning signs of domestic violence, healthy relationships for young adults and the tragic loss of a child she called her own.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the Burgers and Badges fundraiser this past weekend! We are incredibly grateful to our law enforcement, community members, family and friends who joined us to make this event successful!

A very special thank you to Grill 309 for opening your doors and hosting this event for several years! Thank you for continuing to raise awareness for the upcoming Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil. Your generosity means more than you know and we are grateful to have a space for our community to come together to support such a meaningful cause.

We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by our table during National Night Out! We enjoyed all of the wonderful conversations, questions and camaraderie between community partners!
