Our Cumberland FFA Chapter Treasurer Kaity saddled up her horse to visit neighbors and get the word out about this year's fruit sale fundraiser! 🍎🍊

Fruit sale orders can be taken by local members until November 11th. Fruit options may also be viewed online by visiting shop.myfruitsale.com/?code=QGAL-2058.

The Cumberland FFA is sincerely thankful for all of the support that has been shared over the years! ♥️

👮 Our 8th grade students welcomed Officer Joy as a guest speaker in health class to learn about the legal consequences of underage drinking.

Students had already explored the health risks of alcohol use, including how it affects the brain and other organs. Officer Joy built on that learning by discussing the legal consequences and demonstrating how alcohol can be detected. A few students even had the opportunity to try a preliminary breath test (PBT) to see how it works!

A big thank-you to Officer Joy for taking the time to share this important information with our students! 👏

🎃🍬 A little STEM, a little creativity, and a whole lot of Halloween fun!

Students in STEM class took on a spooky engineering challenge: design a mechanical hand that could grab as much candy from a bowl as possible! The best part? Whatever candy they grabbed, they got to keep!

These students came up with lots of creative designs, with the top grab bringing in two pieces of candy. Not quite a candy jackpot, but there’s plenty of potential!

Next up in the engineering design process: making modifications and improving their designs. 🍭🔧

UNDEFEATED! 13-0! 🔥🏐

Our 8th grade volleyball team finished the season undefeated with an incredible 13-0 record! These ladies worked hard at every practice and continued to improve throughout the season. Their hard work, determination, and teamwork truly paid off!

Their final game of the season was a nail-biter, and the grit and resilience they showed were remarkable. They never gave up and never stopped fighting! 💪🏐

We are SO proud of all they have accomplished this season and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow and succeed in the years to come.

Way to make Cumberland proud, ladies! ❤️🤍

Kindergarteners kicked off their 5 senses study with a trip to the school forest! 🌲

Exploring nature was the perfect way to bring the unit to life.

A huge thank you to the high school athletes who hung out with them, and to Mr. Mauer for gifting every student their very own magnifying glass! 🔍

🏐💗 Our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams showed their support for Dig Pink Night by putting together a basket to be raffled off!

They also rocked their Dig Pink shirts and cheered on our high school team, showing that we’re all in this fight together! 🎀

And just like that, our 7th-grade volleyball season has come to an end! 🏐❤️🖤

I am extremely proud of the progress these girls have made, from our very first practice to our last game. They have shown strength, determination, and a willingness to learn and grow. It has been amazing to watch their skills and confidence develop throughout the season!

Although our season has come to an end, I will continue cheering them on and supporting them throughout the school year. Keep working hard, believing in yourselves, and being amazing! I am so proud of you all! 🫶
