Mr. Sneed continues to fight for us, playing an instrumental role in maintaining Cherokee traditions and culture in our tribe. Some interesting facts about Mr. Sneed! He is a direct descendant of Nancy Ward. He is also a retired lawyer. ᏩᏙ Wado, Mr. Sneed, for your service to this tribe!

Southeast Indian Studies Conference - Submission Form Attached If Your Interested

The Department of American Indian Studies on the campus of UNC Pembroke will hold its Eighteenth Annual Southeast Indian Studies Conference March 30-31, 2023 (Virtual or In-person TBD). The Call for Papers & Poster Presentations deadline is January 23, 2023; see attached for submission requirements.
