This past week Good Shepherd Catholic Church had their service week and chose to come help us out here at Family Promise!
Over two days this week we had middle and high schoolers who came to our bridge center and not only helped organize our Everyday Essentials Pantry, but they donated a lot of Everyday Essentials as well!
These students didn’t stop there though! They helped to deep clean the day center as well as all of our cars here at Family Promise so that our familes could come to home to a nice mid-week reset!
We are so thankful to Good Shepherd and all of these amazing and hardworking volunteers for coming to help us out this week!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Coldwell Banker & Realty for holding a drive over the past few months to collect items for our ‘Everyday Essentials’ Pantry!
Thanks to them we collected so many of our needed items as well as cash donations that will allow us to get this pantry up and running for the families in our program.
Thank you again Coldwell Banker & Realty for all that you do to support our community!

A few days ago associates from Jackson Helathcare dropped off some wonderful clothing donations for us from their Earth Day Clothing Swap!
It’s always so amazing to get to work with businesses in our community that want to help support the long term stability of children and their families!
Thank you again to Jackson Helathcare for all that you do to support us at Family Promise!

Members of our Board & Congregational Care Committee enjoyed taking part in the National Day of Prayer event at Cu***ng City Center today. Thank you Parker McFarland for organizing and allowing us to take part and share prayer request cards for the families in our program.

On April 28th, Family Promise of Forsyth County had the opportunity to present to the agents of Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners in their Suwanee office for their Care Bears kick off.
We discussed how we serve children and their families in Forsyth County who are facing homelessness and/or financial instability.
They gave us 25 of their “Care Bears” that we will give to children who are dealing with so much anxiety and uncertainty that we serve when we are out in the community with our FP on the GO Bus!
We are sending them a great big Bear Hug and a Thank You as these Care Bears will bring joy and comfort to the children we are helping!

We Need Your Help!
This year we at Family Promise have partnered with The Optimist Club to place American Flags in the yards of homes in a local Cu***ng neighborhood!
Here’s where we need you! We are looking for volunteers to come and pick up the flags from our Bridge Center and place them in the yards. This is a great opportunity for anyone including families and retirees.
The date and time are flexible as long as the flags are out by May 21st, and it is only around a hour time commitment so it is a very quick and easy way to get some volunteer hours in!
If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Morgan Consoli at [email protected]!
