They want you worried about tariffs. Fine. Now look at what it costs a family to live under California policy.

State taxes. Housing rules. Insurance. Energy. Water. Gas. Registration.

More than $34,000 a year. That’s before groceries, before childcare, and before your kids need anything.

Nobody in Sacramento wants you to see that number on your kitchen table. I do, because you can’t fix what you won’t look at.

California's water system was planned in the 1960s, when the state had about 16 million people. Nearly 40 million of us live here now.

Forecasters are calling for a very strong El Niño this winter. San Benito County has already declared an emergency to get ready.

Every wet year we fail to store is a dry year a farm family pays for later. In Congress, I will push for the storage to hold it.

The rain is free. Let's keep it.

Back in the late 2000's if a politician got caught in a lie, he would publicly own up to it on 60 minutes and apologize. Today however they double down and publish half truths and blatant lies. Here are the President's remarks published by ABC 7:

"Let them hit San Diego. Let them hit Los Angeles if you want to see some bad things happen. You want to see a country that would be in free fall? We're not going to let that happen," he added. "We protect our cities. We protect our country. We're not letting that happen."

I do not want to trim the federal tax on wages and salaries. In Congress, I will push to end it.

You earned it. You keep it.

Early voting is open, and I am counting on your vote.
