The Freedom Plane National Tour Exhibit is now open at Museum of Miami. As part of our Miami-Dade 250 initiative, we are proud to be one of only eight cities in the country selected to host these extraordinary founding-era documents. It’s an incredible chance to experience history firsthand by seeing the documents that defined our nation’s ideals and continue to guide us to this day. Visit the exhibit now through July 5! 🇺🇸

No family should have to choose between safety and affordability. Miami-Dade's Condominium Special Assessment Loan Program has been relaunched with $15M available in 0% interest loans.
Apply for up to $50,000 to help pay for required building repairs. Since its inception, this program has helped more than 2,100 Miami-Dade families with nearly $60 million in loans. Apply by June 30.

From my family to yours, I want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures across Miami-Dade County. Today, I’m reminded of the incredible fathers in my own life who helped shape who I am. Thank you for the love, guidance, and strength you share with your families every day. 💙

This is more than a fire. It is a risk to our whole community. The Quarry 2 fire is at 75% containment, and the Well fire is at 50%. Progress is being made. Happy Juneteenth!
Today, we commemorate one of the most important milestones in our nation’s history: the end of slavery in the United States.
Juneteenth reminds us that freedom was not secured all at once and that justice is never achieved without persistence and struggle.
As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, we reflect on the profound contributions of Black Americans, including right here in Miami-Dade, whose legacy of beauty, brilliance, and progress continues to shape our community.
As public servants, we work every day to build a Miami-Dade where every resident can thrive with dignity, safety, and opportunity.
