Congratulations to our very own former Director, Dr. Crystal Miller, on the University of KY College of Public Health Hall of Fame Award.

Crystal is the current Commissioner of Health for Lexington Fayette Co. Health Department. Prior to this position, Dr. Miller held the position of Public Health Director for WEDCO for 18 years.

The correct answer is... D) 1959! Bi-Water Farm & Greenhouse was established in 1959 by Carl A. & Bertha Fister! Bi-Water is still owned and operated by the Fister's today!

🩺 Meet Kenda Greenwood!
Kenda is a Public Health Nurse I and a valued member of our Clinic Team! Whether she's caring for patients or cheering from the sidelines as a proud travel ball mom, Kenda is all about the people around her. Her favorite part of working at WEDCO? Her coworkers, of course! 💙

🌟 Meet Rachel Winkle!
You may know Rachel as WEDCO's Public Health Director, but did you know her journey with WEDCO began 24 years ago as an Account Clerk?

What started as a job opportunity turned into an incredible career dedicated to public health and serving our communities. Today, Rachel leads our agency with a genuine passion for the people behind the work we do. She is incredibly proud of the WEDCO team and the difference they make each day, and that appreciation for her staff is at the heart of her leadership. 💙

And here's a fun fact: Before she was leading WEDCO, Rachel was showing goats in 4-H! 🐐😂 Be sure to check out her throwback photo!

Follow these helpful tips to have the best dental hygiene:

🪥 You should get two cleanings a year from your dentist

🪥 Brush or scrape your tongue gently to remove bacteria and freshen breath.

🪥 You should replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months

🪥 It is recommended you brush your teeth for at least two minutes
