Got newspaper? Our newspaper bin is currently empty!

If you have clean, unwanted newspapers, we'd be incredibly grateful for your donation. Bring them by anytime and place them in the bin just to the left of our front doors.

We use newspaper every day to keep enclosures clean, cozy, and comfortable for our animals. So, before you toss that stack in the recycling bin, consider giving it a second life and bringing it to us instead.

FYI from Prof. Patricia Reiff at Rice University:
Astronomy News June 2026

Venus and Jupiter do-si-do
The queen and king of the sky are tightly joined for the next few days, so look in the west just after sunset. And if you are lucky to have clear skies and a clear western horizon, see if you can glimpse Mercury, ten degrees below and to the right of Venus, just under the twin stars of Gemini. (Star map made with Stellarium)
