Another incredible STEM Workshop for Indigenous Girls+ is in the books!

This year’s workshop brought together 32 youth from across Canada to McMaster University for hands-on experiences blending Indigenous knowledge with Western science, inspired by the theme, “Radiant Minds, Blossoming Hearts.”

We’re proud to support this program as part of our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, helping to open pathways into STEM and Canada’s nuclear sector.

Each student’s curiosity and enthusiasm makes this program so meaningful and inspiring.

During refurbishment projects, regulatory hold points (RHPs) are put in place as 4 mandatory checkpoints that require review and verification by our staff before they can be removed and the project can continue.

Having met all required commitments to remove the third RHP for Bruce A Unit 3, Bruce Power may now operate the refurbished reactor at more than 1%, up to a maximum of 35%, for further testing and verification.

Our staff will continue to monitor the refurbishment activities to verify they are completed safely.
