📣 All smiles because Cheer Bowl is right around the corner! 📣

Just a friendly reminder that our annual Mountain Athletic Conference Cheer Competition is coming up on October 18th at Dawson County High School! 📣

These young ladies have spent the entire football season cheering on and supporting our football teams, and now it’s their time to shine! ✨ They’ve worked hard, dedicated countless hours, and are ready to take the Matt’s and show everyone what they’ve got!

Please see attached flyer below for more details!

Yahoola Creek Park will be Closed Saturday, Oct. 10 - Even our trees need a rain check. 🌲💧

Due to the possibility of strong winds and heavy rains increasing the risk of falling trees and branches, Yahoola Creek Park will be totally closed on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

We’re putting safety first so everyone stays out of harm’s way while Mother Nature works through her mood swings. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as the skies clear!

Stay safe and dry out there, Dahlonega!
