As things are cooling off, local enraged dynamite-man Tony Norbert Tarantino (TNT... Get it?) is out, trying to calm down!! He says come see the museum, it can be a lovely part of touring downtown Dahlonega! He will behave he promises.

Day in the Life of a Gold Miner 2026 was so much fun! Assistant Manager Matt got demoted into a ne'er-do-well, failed miner and crummy gambler.. not everyone got lucky during the gold rush!!! He played chuck-a-luck with guests, between his friends knocking some sense into him!!

The hard working historians and demonstrators had to put up with his antics. Interesting laundry demonstrations by Libba from the Athens Welcome Center (even miners want clean clothes), Greg from the Lumpkin County Historical Society had great details and artifacts from the time period, and Dathan from Consolidated Gold Mine tried to outdo Matt's beard (his is better.)
