In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Dalhart Unit is wearing pink to show our support for all those who are currently fighting breast cancer, those who have fought this battle, and those we hold close in our hearts and memories. 💕

Behind every pink ribbon is a story of courage, strength, hope, and love. Today, we stand together to remind those facing this battle that they are not alone, to celebrate the survivors who inspire us, and to honor the beautiful souls we have lost.

Pink represents more than awareness — it represents HOPE, COURAGE, and the strength to keep fighting. 🎀

May we continue to lift one another up, spread awareness, and remind every warrior that their fight matters and their story inspires others. Together, we stand stronger! 💗

The Dalhart Unit had a little fun while raising money for a great cause through our SECC Ice Bucket Challenge!

A big congratulations to Mrs. Griffin, who raised the most money and earned the honor of participating in the challenge! 👏🏻🎉

📣 Attention All TDCJ Staff

On July 13, 2026, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice is transitioning to the state-mandated Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).

CAPPS will provide all agency employees with real-time, self-service access to view and update their personal information. After this transition, all agency employees will be required to enter their time in CAPPS.

Additionally, using CAPPS, employees can:

•Check time balances
•Access paystubs
•View W-2s
•Update W-4 Elections

TDCJ is committed to supporting every employee through this transition. Stay tuned for updates via email, digital signage and our social media channels.
