Today we are proud to announce a $2.5 million investment from McKesson toward the Fair Park Community Park project for the McKesson Market Grove. This extraordinary commitment is the largest philanthropic gift in McKesson’s history and the company’s first major philanthropic investment in Dallas.

Mckesson's investment is more than a gift to a park. It is an investment in the people of South Dallas, in equitable access to quality green space, and in the belief that every community deserves places that foster health, belonging, and opportunity.

This transformational gift brings us one step closer to delivering a world-class park here in South Dallas. Thank you to McKesson!

We are beyond humbled and grateful for the incredible partnership and support of State Senator Royce West andd State Representative Venton Jones
in securing a $3 million appropriation for the Community Park at Fair Park!

This new 10.5 acre park will be a vibrant space for families, outdoor activities, and community gatherings — a true centerpiece for connection, recreation, and growth for the surrounding neighborhoods around Fair Park. Ground is planned to break August 2026.

Great Day at the Children's Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park

Children brought toy dump trucks to Children's Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park to have them filled with dirt by a real excavator. Hands-on events are held regularly.
