Thank you to Jim Bearden for leading an insightful leadership workshop with my clerks on closing the gaps between what sounds good and what actually gets done. From mission statements to everyday decisions, effective leadership requires our actions, behaviors, and accountability to reflect the values we say we stand for.

When our actions align with our mission, we build trust, strengthen our teams, and create a culture where our words are more than promises, they become practice.

It was an honor to spend time with the dedicated team at the Dallas County Auditor’s Office, sharing my professional journey, the experiences that have shaped me, and the milestones that have contributed to my growth as a leader and public servant.

Every chapter of my journey has taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, leadership, service, and the importance of embracing opportunities for growth. I am grateful for the challenges that strengthened me, the people who encouraged me, and the experiences that continue to shape my purpose.

Thank you to the Dallas County Auditor’s Office for welcoming me and allowing me to share my story. My hope is that my journey serves as a reminder that growth is a process, leadership is an opportunity to serve others, and our experiences can inspire those around us.

Together, we continue to learn, lead, and serve the people of Dallas County. ❤️

One of the sweetest parts of serving as your Dallas County Clerk is getting to be part of life’s most special moments!

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of issuing a marriage license to a dear friend of mine, Judge Audrey Moorhead and her fiancé. It truly made my heart happy.

There is something so special about helping others take this beautiful step in their love story. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, happiness, and endless blessings as you begin this exciting new chapter together!
