If you've volunteered with GPTX, you are as proud & excited as we are to have Dr. V. running for office. He's served on the State Executive Committee for years & has been vital to our organizing in Bexar County & statewide.

Voters have more than two choices when affiliating with a political party in Texas. The Green Party nominates candidates to the general election ballot via convention under section 181 of the Election Code. This is just as valid as voting in the duopoly primary but Greens don't use millions of dollars in taxpayer money for our nomination process. Since the vast majority of voters do not vote in the duopoly primary (upwards of 70%) they are still eligible to vote in the Green Party conventions which will take place on March 10 from 7-9pm at PicaPica Plaza Event Center on the Southside of San Antonio. Skip the March 3rd primary and vote Green on March 10. Visit www.txgreens.org for more info.
