Our hearts are heavy today as we stand with our Oak Cliff neighbors following the devastating gas explosion and five alarm fire at The Clyde apartments. To the families mourning the tragic loss of three innocent lives including two adult women and a young toddler and to the survivors who lost everything, Urban Specialists wraps you in our prayers and unwavering support. We are deeply grateful to our first responders and to Adamson High School and Mission Oak Cliff for immediately opening their doors as sanctuaries. In times of tragedy, Dallas shows its true strength through unity, and as Chief Executive Officer, I urge everyone who can to join us in supporting Mission Oak Cliff relief efforts to help these displaced families rebuild.

My heart breaks for the families shattered by early morning’s tragic mass shooting on Vilbig Road in West Dallas. Three precious lives were stolen, and another was wounded in a senseless crossfire. We are praying fiercely for everyone affected by this nightmare.
At Urban Specialists, we believe our neighborhoods deserve safety, dignity, and peace. When gunfire erupts in West Dallas, it hits the soul of our entire city. We cannot accept this as the status quo, and we cannot become numb to the headlines.
Our team is on the ground right now—supporting grieving families, anchoring the neighborhood, and working to prevent retaliatory violence.
To the youth of Dallas: Your lives have value. Pulling a trigger doesn’t prove power; it only multiplies pain. We need you alive.
