“Operation Safe Streets,” the Dallas Police Department’s mission to fight human trafficking, targets both the criminals who traffic victims for profit, and the buyers who continue the cycle of exploitation. During a one-day operation in March, 26 suspects were arrested after agreeing to pay an undercover officer for s*x. All are charged with Solicitation of Prostitution, a state jail felony. Dallas PD is committed to breaking up these criminal markets and providing resources and care for survivors of human trafficking and s*xual exploitation.

On April 2, 2026, Dallas Police officers turned a routine patrol into a race against time when they found a woman unresponsive and fighting to breathe in a Northwest Dallas parking lot.
Recognizing the signs of a possible overdose, officers acted immediately, administering two doses of Narcan while a Good Samaritan jumped in to perform CPR. Together, they refused to give up.
Paramedics arrived and took over.
Today, that woman is alive and has since been released from the hospital.
This is what service looks like. Not just enforcing the law, but saving lives.
