Today, we’re holding space with deep gratitude.

Gratitude for the mothers fighting every day to keep their families together.
Gratitude for the women choosing healing, even when it feels impossible.
Gratitude for the community that continues to believe in the work we do — even through our pause, our transitions, and our rebuilding.

This year has been heavy for so many families impacted by child welfare, trauma, addiction, and poverty. Mental health challenges don’t take a holiday, and neither does the courage it takes to face them.

At Heart of Courage, we see you. We believe in you. And we are committed to walking beside you.

As we relaunch in 2025, our mission remains clear:
🌿 Provide mental and emotional support for mothers navigating CPS involvement, trauma recovery, and raising children with unique needs.
🌿 Stay small, stay grassroots, stay human — because real change happens through relationships, not systems.
🌿 Make counseling, advocacy, and community accessible for families who are often overlooked.
🌿 Build a space where mothers don’t have to be perfect — they only have to be willing.

Since 2017, Heart of Courage has been blessed to serve our families from our office space in Dallas. That space has been more than just an office—it’s been a safe place for mothers to grow, heal, and rebuild. 💫

Unfortunately, due to financial challenges, we’ve had to say goodbye to that space. As we continue to serve and plan for a powerful relaunch, we are now looking for a new location—a place that will allow us to meet with clients, host support sessions, and continue our mission of walking alongside courageous mothers.

After 9 years of service, Heart of Courage is taking a sacred pause.

We’ve walked with single mothers through storms, stood in the gap, and celebrated resilience every step of the way. Now, we’re taking the time to do what we’ve always encouraged our mothers to do: rest, reflect, and restore.

This is what we mean by a sacred pause:
A sacred pause is an intentional and meaningful break—not out of burnout, but out of reverence. It’s a moment to honor the journey, breathe deeply, listen inward, and realign with purpose. It’s not giving up—it’s gearing up.

This is not goodbye. It’s a moment to regroup and prepare for what’s next. When we return, it will be with renewed strength, fresh vision, and the same unwavering love for our community.
