Wearing red for National Wear Red Day! Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women and Black women face disproportionate risks. Nearly 60% of Black adults have some form of cardiovascular disease, and Black women have a 5.4% stroke prevalence compared to 2.9% for all women. Additionally, 58.4% of Black women have high blood pressure—one of the highest rates in the world. But we can change these statistics! Know your numbers, schedule checkups, stay active, and recognize warning signs. Most heart disease is preventable. Your health matters. ❤️
