Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Museum

KJG museum honors the legacy of education activist, Kathlyn Joy Gilliam. We're dedicated to promoting eduction and developing future community leaders.

The Museum (a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization) is dedicated to honoring and preserving the achievements of Dallas education and civil rights activist, Kathlyn Joy Gilliam. The Museum will house a reading room and support youth debate teams and tournaments. The Museum is a space for teaching and learning, inspiring and training a new generation to practice Mrs. Gilliam’s strategies for creating change and exceptional learning opportunities for all students.
