The department is saddened to announce the recent off-duty loss of our Brother, Driver Engineer, Kalon T. Cohen. Kalon selflessly served the residents of the City of Dallas - City Hall for over 22 years before his untimely passing. Please keep his family, as well as his Dallas Fire-Rescue brothers and sisters, in your as they mourn the loss of their loved one.

About 20 tons of hay caught fire on 20 westbound. This was the cause of traffic backup all afternoon into the evening.
